Bacon Blue Cheese Burgers
3 tsp hot sauce
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
8 ounces blue cheese
about 1 C of green onions and mushrooms chopped and sauteed
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, mix, cover and stick in the fridge for a couple of hours.
Cook bacon to go over the top
Pull meat out of fridge and mold into hamburger patties. Then cook, add bacon to the top and you have an awesome burger.
Note: I do not like blue cheese, or mushrooms but for some reason loved this burger I might have eaten two. If I did not take half of the hamburgers and freeze them for another meal I may have eaten more.
Hamburger buns
1 C milk
1/2 cup water
1/4 c margarine
heat in sauce pan until warm enough to raise yeast
mix in a large bowl
1 3/4 C flour
2 T sugar
1 1/2 t salt
2 1/4 t yeast
add milk mixture
mix together
add 1 egg and mix
add 2 3/4 cup flour 1/2 a cup at a time and then knead
Pull apart into 12 buns and put on a cookie sheet. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes
bake at 400 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Seriously....You make your own buns- with a gaggle of darling children hanging off your apron- HOLY moly is all I have to say;)
